MOre than a business
People often ask me how Evergreen Sunless came to be, and the truth is, it wasn’t born from having everything figured out, but built with a strong foundation.
It was born during one of the hardest seasons of my life.
At a time when so much felt uncertain, I found myself longing to build something that was truly my own. Not just a business, but something meaningful. Something that could create a better future for my little family, give me a creative outlet, and remind me that even in difficult seasons, it’s still possible to grow.
At first, Evergreen Sunless existed only as notes in a google sheet and ideas that felt almost too big to say out loud. The goals I wrote down seemed so far away that they hardly felt real.
And yet, here we are.
Less than two years later, those pages have become a business I couldn’t have imagined. Not because of anything I’ve done alone, but because of the incredible people who believed in this dream long before it looked like one.
To my family and friends who encouraged me when I questioned myself, listened to every new idea, shared my posts, celebrated every booking, and reminded me to keep going—thank you. You saw something in me before I could fully see it myself.
To every client who booked when I was brand new, took a chance on me, left a kind review, told a friend, or came back again… you’ve helped build Evergreen Sunless into what it is today. You didn’t just support a small business—you supported a person chasing a dream.
The community we’ve built together means more to me than I can put into words.
You’ve invited me into some of life’s biggest moments: weddings, vacations, graduations, birthdays, family photos, and celebrations. You’ve also trusted me on the ordinary days—the ones where you simply wanted to feel a little more confident. Being part of those moments is something I never take lightly.
The truth is, there are still days when I’m balancing what feels like a million things at once. Building a business while working full-time and showing up for my family isn’t always easy. There are moments of exhaustion, moments of doubt, and moments when I wonder if I’m doing enough.
But then I walk into the studio door, welcome another client, pack for a mobile appointment, hear someone say they finally feel confident in a dress they were nervous to wear, or read a message about how much they loved their tan. Those moments remind me exactly why I started.
Evergreen Sunless has become so much more than spray tanning. It’s become a place where confidence is nurtured, where people feel cared for, and where genuine connection matters just as much as the final result.
The name “Evergreen” has always felt fitting to me. Evergreens stay rooted through every season, and that’s the kind of business I hope to build—one grounded in kindness, trust, and relationships that last.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Thank you to those who believed in me before there was proof this would work. Thank you to those who continue to cheer me on today. And thank you to every person who has walked through my studio doors and become part of this story.
Evergreen Sunless may have started with me, but it has grown because of all of you.
I can’t wait to see where we go next.
with love, Samantha
Sunless perfection, always in season
