A mobile spray tan means is exactly what it sounds - I come to you.
Your home, your hotel (perfect to those visiting the Seattle area), your “getting ready” space…wherever makes the most sense for your day.
You just simply stay where you are, and I bring everything we need along with me.
When mobile just makes more sense
This is where a mobile tan really shines! Most of my clients book mobile when life is already full and they don’t want to add one more thing to their schedule.
It’s a great option if:
Your schedule is packed and you don’t want to commute
You’re getting ready for an event (or with a group)
You have kiddos at home
You just feel more comfortable in your own space
A lot of my Seattle area clients choose mobile because it fits into their life without needing to rearrange everything.
when in-studio is a better fit
That said - there’s something about coming into a dedicated space that people really love. My in-home studio in Mukilteo is set up specifically for this, and some clients prefer the comfort of the studio.
In-studio might be better if:
You want a more controlled and dialed in environment
You like having a set routine and time outside of the house
You are nearby and don’t mind a quick drive
You want a little “this is my time” moment
It’s a different experience - and for some people, that’s exactly what you are looking for.
So… Which One is Better?
Truthfully? Neither. The results will be just as fantastic either way. The difference is how the appointment feels. In summary mobile is easier, more flexible, and fits into your day. In-studio is more structured, consistent, and a bit more traditional.
I have clients who only do one… and others who switch between both depending on what their week looks like.
My Take (As Your Spray Tan Artist)
If you have something important coming up, a busy week, or you’re coordinating with other people—mobile usually wins. If you’re just keeping up with your routine and want something quick or nearby —in-studio tends to be the go-to.
Either way, my goal is the same every time: a spray tan that looks natural, wears evenly, and doesn’t feel like a whole production to maintain.
